Virtual eating disorder treatment that works.

A dedicated care team and evidence-based therapy, available at your fingertips.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Recovery from eating disorders is possible. The right tools and team should be accessible to all.

Namona is an all-virtual eating disorder treatment program providing evidence-based care through Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E). Through an innovative Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program, Namona is expanding access to eating disorder treatment that works.

CBT-E is a next-generation therapy with proven results: compared to treatment as usual, CBT-E demonstrates a 60% higher recovery rate after 20 weeks of outpatient treatment.

Namona’s skilled clinicians include therapists and dietitian, trained to deliver CBT-E with fidelity and flexibility while working together as a treatment team.

With small group sizes and adult-focused treatment, the road to recovery is with your peers. Benefit from group support and weekly individual sessions with your therapist and dietitian.

Adults of all ages, genders, and body sizes are welcome here. Namona's nutrition philosophy follows an all-foods-fit, weight inclusive approach, with meal support that is tailored to you.

HOW IT WORKS

Building your path to recovery.

Call for care

When you first reach out, you’ll be connected to one of our Patient Specialists, who will collect some basic demographic information. It’s helpful to have your insurance card handy so we can start to verify your coverage.

Schedule assessment

You’ll meet with our Clinical Director for a 1 hour evaluation, where we’ll ask about your medical history and current symptoms to gain an in-depth picture of your mental and physical health, stored securely in our Patient Portal.

Find the right level of care

After your intake assessment and in conjunction with your in-person medical team, we’ll make a recommendation for what level of care is right for you. And if it’s not with us, we’ll provide referrals to get you connected to trusted treatment.

Start treatment, virtually

Most patients starting treatment do so within the same week as their evaluation. We’ll build a treatment plan centered around goals for your recovery and be there beside you each step of the way, all from the comfort of your home.

WHY SEEK TREATMENT

Seeking specialized care is critical. Eating disorders are:

Common

5.5 million Americans have an eating disorder. Eating disorders impact people of all genders, races, and body types.

Serious

10,200 deaths in the US each year are a direct result of an eating disorder. That's more than any other mental illness besides opiate dependency.

Treatable

Two-thirds of people who seek qualified treatment reach longterm recovery. With CBT-E, symptom reduction typically occurs within 20 weeks outpatient.
